Our Mission
Miami DUI Expert was founded in 2004 with a single focus: defending people accused of driving under the influence in Miami-Dade County. By concentrating on one area of criminal defense, we stay ahead of changing Florida DUI statutes, breath-testing technology, and the science behind field sobriety testing.

Carlos Mendez, Esq.
Founding Attorney & Lead Counsel
Carlos Mendez founded Miami DUI Expert after a decade as a public defender in Miami-Dade County. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, he is a member of the National College for DUI Defense and has completed advanced training in forensic toxicology and breath-testing protocols.
Carlos has tried more than 150 DUI jury trials and has earned a reputation among prosecutors and judges as a thorough, prepared, and relentless advocate. He personally handles every case from intake through resolution.
